Guacalillo Sunset (or
other times, depending on the ocean tides) Tropical Mangrove River Adventure - You
will descend the mountains from San Jose to the Pacific coast where you will be
greeted with our buffet of tropical fruits and have an opportunity to enjoy our
gardens before you board one of the comfortable boats for the exciting trip
along the Guacalillo Estuary and the Tarcoles River which is home to some 250
species of birds and where you will have the opportunity to see one of the
largest colonies of crocodile in Costa Rica. This adventure will provide
you a great understanding of the life and death of the Mangrove and it's
species. This area is one of the most important in the mid Pacific Coast
for the conservation of the Scarlet Macaw.
